Taipei, Taiwan

Leaving the city we came to a beautiful hilly town, where there were cyclists passing by us, (wished I could have joined them); a really green river was reachable, A would have jumped in there for a swim and me too; driving to the other side of the mountain there stood the beautiful ocean, excellent! no border between the pacific and taiwan straight... Loads of people were fishing there so I thought of a friend who loves fishing...

travel plan

i'm on holiday, little by little making plans for the next: it always delights me to think about going away from a familiar place; this time, Christmas in a colder country, whose literature I'm going to read more before my 3rd time setting foot on their land, a fairytales' territory, fiction ambiance and the most romantic...

in my real world there goes on still a temporary storm. Like it or not, some harsh reality is there to be faced, tackled, then forgotten. With such heavy burden at heart, it was a grand pleasure I crossed the city to go for a chat with T, good gracious, this person could always relight my hopes, (not sure if that's a suitable expression), what magic, how incredible.

busy busy busy

There's so much to do about these tasks that I've been doing, but for some reasons I'm not too anxious about it. There're loads of people who have been extremely kind-hearted to help me with my project, and I almost don't deserve such kindness and good luck--I've got to really get a better grip on my work, otherwise I'll regret...

Having some exciting plans coming up, including seeing my friends' band in London! I'm going to keep very quiet about it and simply show up as a huge surprise. (I feel I'm almost as busy as a famous touring band...)

And of course Sigur Ros too!

L-the-Canadian-girl, whom I used to share a flat with is getting married, and I'm invited to her wedding in London on 8th April, (Congrats to her!!!) the even more exciting bit is, this is gonna be the very first wedding that I attend in this country, plus it's an Indian wedding!!

My London friends, could I ask for a night's lodging at your floors for these dates, please? 27-29 March, 7-8 April (going down from Leicester, how exciting...)

Oh, no, my ecological footprint...

European winter (plus Xmas?)

Important news. (ru**ish entry...o)

My brother just announced I'd have to say bye to him at Paris on 22nd Dec. (It'll be my first time to take the Eurostar...)
Where would I go from there?
Quite like an European train journey like in that movie 'Before Sunrise,' but it'll be my first winter there (before I only thought about going to Europe in summer...) so am not sure if I want to be cold and miserable and starving and alone there over Xmas...

Tonight I shall not dream about pages and pages of work and state of anxiety, but loads and loads of snow and Santa Claus...
