Efforts

I very inarticulately talked to friends about how I perceived Horowitz's techniques and also Laura Veirs' lyrical music, but it was apparent my desire to express and share outdid my words' objects... Efforts had remained efforts...

a twilit quandary...

His performance/work is itself an untranslatable work of art, I think.

well, i bet you could detect where my frustration bounced up from.

i might be taking it too seriously about these matters, but

if i were to do well differenciating artwork of genius from commonplace, it is simply otiose to deify the art and its practioner! i need to be more competent at my analytic skills and specific explanatory techniques, these i am in lack of, sadly....

to say something is 'impossible to describe how good' is to say nothing at all. i personally think if so then those words are just wasted. i'd rather not say a thing.

But I do feel blessed to be able to feel and listen in with my colourful imagination... although this takes away peace of mind as a result...

alternatively i should simply learn to be more reserved.

after all, my desire to face my passion honestly and to share these feelings with others is unnecessarily fervent, so i very often feel constrained and disappointed. can you imagine anyone who could stand someone like me, and at the same time i can stand this person?

wow i'm over-analysing myself again... was just writing all about milton and his approbation of Will, he calls him 'son of memory' or Mνημοσύνη in Greek... hey girl thanks for your comment!
