(just added a really funny picture of tim taken in Argentina...so tim!!)
My friend Sunny wrote about her November party-plus-work schedule as the latest blog entry, which made me have a chill on the back, oops it's November now (no wonder it was so cold outside). My workload is piling up horrendously but still manageable. Am I really so optimisitic. Two concerts, (three, actually), at least 3 trips out of town, one play, one public lecture, and a couple of parties, maybe? (per week?)
Got a text from big when I was thinking my head off writing my paper (also just about to begin moaning to jens,) so for about an hour I was in an indecisive state--'should I or shouldn't I?' 'Oh, whatever!' in the end I went anyway, and the acoustic smll-matt-with-Ewan was enjoyable; v nice to say hi to the group of beautiful people who always gather up for I AM JACK--ages ago indeed since I last saw them play... Emi and I both thought Matt sang well tonight. Three of their originals plus one bonus cover: 'if you're going to leave, i won't make you stay; you'll find out, that you can hide, you can run, but you can't escape my love.' (who sings such horrifying lyrics!!!) Guys, I wanna say for a while I thought I came to see a boyband when you did that cover... but like Ewan said, you did it seriously. Can I pay you for guitar lessons?
PS. Mark I was thinking you would have liked to come! I'm still not used to the idea that you now live in Vienna...
PPS. Jan you were greatly missed! People couldn't stop talking about the German drummer (who might turn into a giggly drunkard tonight as it's the b-day... Have a happy one!)
