Just then I was trying to envisage how Beethoven composed music after he went deaf, what frustration he must have undergone while losing his sense of hearing!
What was it like playing all the different instruments in his head? Would they have sounded flawless because the sounds existed in the great musical mind?
I'd have loved to exist as a little note in his head. Would I have been an unnoticible sad note?
