Radiohead tour this summer (plus more!!)

An important announcement. (important to anyone who knows what good music is)
[click me to hear more]

TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

Radiohead will be touring the UK/EU in May, playing a short series of theatre shows before heading off on an American and Canadian tour in June (dates TBC). They'll then play some European festival dates before headlining the V Festival in Chelmsford and Stafford in August.

My head is telling me to go to the Edinburgh gig in Aug, but my heart is shouting that I can't wait that long... The May one in London is so tempting...
--
And my best friend S is coming to the UK in June for some travelling and a conference. It's gonna be a great summer, in fact, it looks like summer's arrived today!

If only I had the money and knew where I will be and what I will be doing in the future. I'd love to see Radiohead perform live. Oh well, one day.

from what I can tell the tour sold out within a couple of hours yesterday... little matt tried to get tickets, but phone lines and internet places were to busy...

hmm, I'm not surprised they got sold out already... has anyone heard any of their new stuff yet?

Perhaps Jens could help coz she has a coursemate whose sister is thom yorke's cousin's neighbour or something like that...

but when I saw Radiohead in 2003 I got my ticket about a week before the gig...(to sit at the very back of the huge arena tho, but still magnificent!!)

ah, will have to think about what to do about this later..unless little matt magically figured out some ways for getting tix

wooo...it would be great if we can go to Radiohead's gig together. No matter what, we should go to a gig together when I visit u this summer...

Seal and I just decided to give up on Coachella this year, since I shall be focusing on my D-writing. That was a painful decision. They have Massive Attack this year!

I went to Stereolab's gig last Friday. It was awesome! And the artist performed before them was Sam Prekop, the leader of Sea and Cake! I didn't recognize him of course, but his voice was pretty memorable. I really needed that delirious moment in music, a great rejuvenating break. And I saw V for Vendetta yesterday. I loved it, a bit too sensational but thought-provoking. Is it showing in UK?

sunnybaby,
i hate that we go to the same gig but in different cities...this summer we really have to make the effort of going to at least a gig together. (or have one! the very first UK gig by The Intellectuals)

i want to go and buy stereolab tic too (11may in london) but i'll wait till i come back from london this week, coz i'm not very sure if i really can handle going to a gig in london myself

i love that you said you need a 'rejuvenating break'...but actually i'm recently pretty worried about my own juvenility syndromes, i keep having to shout at myself 'stop thinking like a green girl, you're an adult!'

how sad

ps. i vaguely remember that V movie you mentioned. i think we might have missed it. damnit.
